I am so excited to have the opportunity to provide you with heirloom school portraits! My goal is to provide a better + more personal experience to all the families who attend schools that have chosen to team with me to photograph their students.

Heirloom School Portraits are a timeless + modern approach to school photos. No more forced awkward smiles and poses, no more having a single portrait chosen for you, no more cheesy outdated backgrounds, and no more being forced to purchase print packages that don't fit your needs. The photos will be simple and classic, focusing on your childs authentic self; I will never force a smile.

I am a local photographer that has been serving the greater Sacramento + Placer Counties for over 10 years. I am a wife, a mother to two beautiful daughters, and a dog mom to an old slobbery Cane Corso. I love exploring (that's actually how I find some of my favorite photography locations), I'm not afraid to binge some good tv shows, and I love photography! I fell in love with doing Heirloom Portraits when my oldest was in preschool, and I started with photographing her school 4 years ago. I am so excited to introduce you to Heirloom School Portraits.

Please try to avoid graphics or bright neon colors as they don't always photograph well, and they draw attention away from your child. Solids, neutrals, or simple patterns are best. Please keep in mind any clothing discomforts your children might have and don't make them wear something they are not comfortable in; let them be involved in picking their outfit. Also, please, please, please make sure that you remove any temporary tattoos and such prior to picture day; there will be a retouching fee if they need to be removed. Lastly, if you have any questions or would like help deciding on an outfit, I'm happy to help!

Siblings are always welcome; feel free to bring them along for portraits together and separate! Please let school staff know ahead of time, and make sure to indicate on your order form.

What an incredibly bitter sweet milestone this is! And to celebrate this moment, your child will have the opportunity to be photographed in the cutest little graduation cap and gown! Please make sure to indicate if you would like cap and gown portraits on your order form.

I strive to keep my sessions affordable to all family situations by offering digital images, and never forcing parents to choose from expensive pre-determined print packages. I currently only offer a digital package for $65 (print options will be coming very soon). You will have the availability to share your images on social media + print them at any photo lab of your choosing.

3 weeks after picture day, you will receive an email with a link to your childs gallery. Only the school + parents/guardians will have access to this gallery. It will be a private gallery + only those with the direct link and password will have access.

Your child's gallery will have 2-5 images.

I recommend viewing + ordering images on a computer, NOT your cell phone.
